Plans and Priorities

In 2025, Todd and I planned to participate and travel to some markets out of state to help increase our exposure and gain greater sales. We also decided to decrease our local exposure by closing our booth at With Willing Hands Antiques in March. We had a family emergency in April that kept me busy most of the month (Thank God I am my own boss). That move allowed us to focus on growing our travel show schedule and do special projects for those shows. It was a good move and we reaped great rewards from it.
In 2026, we will again be traveling with Time Travelers Vintage Expo and The Great Junk Hunt to Oklahoma City and San Antonio. We will also do their markets in Dallas. In the Fall we may add an additional markets, but that is up in the air for now. Smaller markets are no longer a part of our business plan in 2026. We appreciate the bigger bang for our buck opportunities. With Todd retiring in the next few years, we hope to grow our travel radius and do even more markets.
I have also made the decision to limit my outside "work" opportunities so I can use my time to focus on procuring more inventory and focus on updating my booths regularly. Even though I restock once a week, booth flips were not something I spent alot of time doing. I plan to make that a bigger priority in 2026. I've been taking an online teaching this winter on growing my booth business and learning more about valuing my time and what it is worth. That is making me prioritize aspects of my business better. I am more passionate about sharing vintage than ever and having these tools to help me do it better is going to be a game changer!
We are excited for all that is to come this year and hope to see you about town in Dallas and McKinney or on the road! As always, thank you for choosing us to source and curate the best vintage to make your home or business special and uniquely yours.
